3D Mammography

3D mammography is a breakthrough in early cancer detection.

Copley’s breast tomosynthesis system delivers greater clarity and more certainty to breast health.

In research published by the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA), 3D mammography has been proven to detect 41% more invasive breast cancers, and reduced the need for follow-up breast exams due to “false positives.”

Contrast-Enhanced Mammography

Contrast-Enhanced Mammography (CEM) combines traditional digital mammography with intravenous contrast to give radiologists a clearer, more detailed view of breast tissue. By highlighting areas of increased blood flow, which can sometimes indicate the presence of cancer, CEM enables the detection and evaluation of abnormalities that may be difficult to identify on a standard mammogram — particularly in patients with dense breast tissue.

CEM has a broad range of clinical uses, including evaluating suspicious findings, assessing the extent of a known breast cancer, clarifying inconclusive imaging results, and supporting personalized screening for higher-risk patients. Key benefits of the technology include:

  • Improved detection in dense breast tissue
  • Faster imaging times compared to MRI
  • Greater patient comfort and accessibility
  • Greater confidence in diagnostic results and care planning

If you are interested in scheduling a screening, please discuss your options with your primary care provider or call 802-888-8358 to make an appointment to discuss your individual breast cancer risk profile.

For as with any test or screening, please check with your insurance company regarding coverage.
