Our laboratory clinicians specialize in blood bank, chemistry, hematology and microbiology.
Copley’s lab is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologist to perform a variety of diagnostic tests ordered by your physician to provide you the best possible care.
Laboratory Services provided include:
- Routine checkup tests to look for changes in your health
- Tests that help your doctor diagnose a medical condition and plan a treatment
- Tests that are used to continually monitor diseases and evaluate treatments
Laboratory tests often check a sample of your blood, urine or body tissues. A technician or your doctor then analyzes the test samples to see if your results fall within the normal range.
Copley Express Lab
Opening August 3, the Copley Express Lab offers convenient, affordable laboratory testing in a dedicated outpatient location designed to make getting the care you need easier than ever.
Located at 607 Washington Highway in Morrisville, next door to Lamoille Health Partners, the Copley Express Lab provides the same trusted diagnostic testing performed by Copley Hospital with convenient access, dedicated parking, and competitive pricing.

For Medicare and Medicaid patients, out-of-pocket costs are the same regardless of where your labs are drawn, making it easy to choose local care.

Scheduling Blood Work
Scheduling your blood work, as you would a doctor’s appointment, is now available at Copley Laboratory. The convenience of a scheduled time – saves you time!
For your convenience, scheduling can be done by calling 802-888-8216 or online via “Request a Lab Appointment” (below). Please note that if calling to schedule your appointment your call will be returned within the next business day. In the event you need an immediate appointment, please ask to speak to someone immediately, or arrive as a walk-in.
Calling ahead and scheduling your appointment not only reduces wait time, it ensures that the lab has received your order. While scheduling your laboratory appointment is encouraged, walk-ins will be accommodated.
If you do not reach a technician, leave a message that includes your full name or name of the person you are scheduling for, date of birth, and name of the provider ordering the laboratory work. The technician will return your call as soon as possible.
Plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time to register with Patient Access located in the main lobby. Once you are registered, proceed to the laboratory window and let them know you have arrived. Please do not arrive any earlier than 15 minutes prior to your appointment.
Blood Bank at Copley
These products are needed for different reasons, including loss of blood due to trauma, cancer and its treatment, the inability of an individual’s body to produce various blood components, or possible destruction of these components by the patient’s own natural defense system.
Copley has dedicated laboratory professionals assuring quality health care by testing and providing compatible blood products for safe transfusions.
Results Electronically, Reducing Wait for Results
This means that results are available to your doctor for review as soon as the report is issued, reducing the amount of time it takes for you to get your results.
Your laboratory test results can be available within 1-7 days depending on the type of test. Results for in-house testing are within 24-48 hours. If we need to send your test out to one of our referring laboratories, results can take up to 7 days.

We believe the first assurance of quality is a qualified staff. Copley hospital laboratory is staffed by a board certified pathologist, medical technologists and medical laboratory technicians. The lab consistently meets the highest standards of laboratory practice and is inspected routinely.
