General Surgeon

Dr. Waterman is a highly skilled general surgeon and a multi-generational Vermonter with a strong commitment to serving her community. As a valued member of Copley Hospital’s medical staff, she helps advance our mission of providing expert, modern surgical care close to home.

In addition to performing a broad range of general surgical procedures, Dr. Waterman has a special interest in women’s breast health and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. She  also serves as the head of Copley Hospital’s Breast Program, where she has been instrumental in advancing breast care services for the community. Under her leadership, Copley became one of the first hospitals in New England to offer Contrast-Enhanced Mammography (CEM), an advanced imaging technology that improves the detection and evaluation of breast abnormalities, particularly in patients with dense breast tissue.
