Jill LaRock, Interim Executive Director of Clinical Ancillary Services

Copley Hospital President and CEO Joe Woodin is happy to announce the promotion of Jill LaRock to Interim Executive Director of Clinical Ancillary Services. Woodin noted that after an extensive recruiting process, we [Copley] are happy Jill accepted the position. Jill has been a member of team Copley since 2005, serving as Director of Rehabilitation for the past four years. As a Director, she has demonstrated her strength in leadership, operations management, knowledge of processes and procedures and communications. Woodin notes that this opportunity will be an interesting role for Jill stating, “Our hope is for her to obtain full appreciation of the duties to succeed and have a willingness to accept the position on a permanent basis.”

Jill is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelor in Science Physical Therapy. She was one of the last classes to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree before it became mandatory Masters, and now Doctorate.

“Jill’s energy, ability to nurture teamwork and delivery of positive results are assets we will continue to look forward to. She is a great resource and benefit to our community hospital – the right choice for this position,” says Woodin. Jill joins the hospital’s Senior Leadership team in her new role immediately. As Interim Executive Director of Clinical Ancillary Services Jill will oversee Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology), Laboratory Services, Rehabilitation Services and Respiratory/Telemedicine/Sleep Lab.

Jill started at Copley as a therapist where she wore many hats working with inpatients and outpatients, provided wound care as well as aquatic therapy. She had the opportunity to work in local schools as a pediatric therapist and even dabbled in foot care. In 2010, she took on the role as Supervisor and in 2018 became the department’s Director where she has successfully managed a team of 29 clinicians and support staff in four locations. As Director of Rehabilitation, and years as a Supervisor, Jill developed relationships with other Department Managers and Senior Leaders, allowing her to gain a better understanding of each department as they influence the hospital’s overall operations.

Jill and her family reside in Hyde Park. She and her husband have three children and their animal family. They love the outdoors – from winter activities that include snowmobiling to cross-country and downhill skiing to the warm beaches in the summer.

“I am thrilled to be embarking on this new endeavor. I feel that this is a great opportunity for me and at the right time. I am excited to be part of the team – learning and growing,” says Jill.

Please join Team Copley in congratulating Jill LaRock and wishing her great success in her new role!
