Effective October 3, Copley Hospital’s Laboratory will open for scheduled “Saturday” outpatient laboratory appointments. “This Saturday service is available between the hours of 8:00am and noon,” states Amy Shopland, Director of Laboratory Services. To schedule your appointment, patients need to call Copley’s Laboratory at 888-8340 and follow the prompts to scheduling your Saturday outpatient appointment. “We are pleased to make this service available to our patients and community,” Shopland continued.
Patients are encouraged to call in advance of Saturday, as a last minute call may result in the inability to accommodate your request. When arriving for your scheduled laboratory appointment, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your lab draw, no earlier please, as this will allow time for COVID screening, necessary for entering the hospital, and registration.
Upon arriving for your appointment, please make sure you are wearing your mask. Masks are a requirement for all patients, visitors and staff, and must be must be worn at all times while in the hospital.
Copley’s lab is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologist to perform a variety of diagnostic tests ordered by your physician to provide you the best possible care. Our laboratory clinicians specialize in chemistry, hematology and microbiology. Weekday walk-in hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm.
