Copley Hospital Hires Executive Director of Development, Marketing and Public Relations

Copley Hospital has hired Barbara Walls as the Executive Director of Development, Marketing and Public Relations.

Barbara is a native New Englander, with 20+ years of experience.  Barbara has spent the last two years with the University of Vermont, as the Managing Creative Director leading the department of UVM Studios, within the Division of Strategic Communications. She developed and executed traditional and digital long-range strategies and theme- focused content for multi-channel audiences. A recent project highlight, in partnership with UVM Marketing and Enrollment, resulted in an all-new campaign which expanded audience reach and enrollment in four new geographic regions. A CASE Circle of Excellence Award winner, Barbara has a tremendous background in design, development and creative services and has worked with organizations such as Colby College and The Jackson Laboratory in Maine, as well as the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  At Colby, Barbara played several key roles in the College’s multi-year, multi-million dollar campaign working with both external agencies and internal stakeholders.

“We are very excited to have Barbara join us and look forward to partnering with her in directing the development and marketing efforts here at Copley,” says Copley’s CEO, Joseph Woodin.
