Community resources are assets that help ensure a safe and healthy community. “Copley patients and family members often comment that they are unaware of services that could have helped them during their time of need. Others are familiar with the names of the different organizations that serve the people of Lamoille County but are not always aware of exactly what each one does or how to access them,” states Dean Mudgett, Director of Donor & Community Relations at Copley Hospital. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance with services that includes fuel, housing, food, mental health, substance use treatment and recovery, or healthcare services do you know where to begin looking? You can start by stopping in at the Green Mountain Technology and Career Center on October 21 at 5:30pm and meet the people working to keep our community strong..
Copley Hospital’s Ethics Committee is pleased to sponsor “Community of Care”. The purpose of this community resource fair is to bring together local organizations allowing providers to have conversations with people about who they are, what they do, and discuss the different ways that they can be of assistance.
