Primary Care Physican

Full-spectrum Family Medicine, providing acute and chronic medical care to patients age 0-110. Dr. James has worked at Stowe Family Practice since 2003, with a year spent working at the University of Vermont Medical Center and another two years doing Urgent Care in Ireland. She has worked in many different medical settings over the years – hospitals, clinics, urgent cares, nursing homes, patient homes – and she enjoys providing the best medical care she can to each patient and their entire family. She treats chronic medical issues and acute injuries, but she also makes sure to discuss the importance of preventative medicine. Dr. James is married to a sports medicine doctor and they have three children.
