The scheduled construction is for Copley’s new Surgical Center. It is being built off the main entrance, between the main lobby and the Rehabilitation Services, connecting to the back of Outpatient Services.

The project involves new construction to build the integrated Surgical Center, renovation to the Outpatient Services Center’s Infusion Suite to create a corridor connecting the Emergency Department and inpatient rooms to the Surgical Center, and modifications to re-purpose the current OR space.

Copley will gain seven (7)  more parking spaces for patients and visitors near the entrance when construction is completed. Traffic flow on and off Copley’s campus will improve thanks to the construction of an exit road circling around the Rehabilitation Services building out toward Lamoille Home Health and Hospice and exiting onto Farr Avenue.

Construction should be fully completed in 18 months, with the anticipated opening of the Surgical Center scheduled for the end of 2017.
