Touch, Caring & Cancer A Free Workshop, April 7th

March 12, 2018

One of the most comforting forms of support you can give a person with cancer is the use of touch. Copley Hospital is pleased to offer “Touch, Caring & Cancer,” a free workshop on Saturday, April 7th.  The workshop is recommended for anyone living with cancer including caregivers, family and friends.  This inspiring and authoritative program provides detailed instruction from local expert Catherine Cerulli, M.Ed. in cancer support and oncology massage. Cerulli will teach safe and simple techniques anyone can learn and apply. The April 7th  workshop will be held in Copley Hospital’s Stevens Conference Room located on the 2nd floor of the Health Center Building beginning at 10:00am.  You can register by calling 888-8369 or online at https://www.copleyvt.org/event/touch-caring-cancer-2/.

Participants will learn safe and simple techniques that anyone can apply to relieve pain and nausea, offer relaxation and reduce anxiety.  Each participant will go home with new skills and a detailed instructional handout that includes all techniques covered in the workshop, as well as additional resources.

Early registration is encouraged by calling 888-8369 or emailing copleyvt.org.
