Stowe – You are invited to enjoy one of Vermont’s favorite three-day culinary celebrations: the Stowe Wine & Food Classic, happening August 26-28. This premiere culinary event features local food, craft beers, and fine wines from around the world, paired with great music, spectacular views and the luxury accommodations of the world class Stowe Mountain Lodge at Spruce Peak. Enjoy the Stowe Wine & Food Classic for a day or make a weekend out of it.
Tickets are on sale now at stowewine.com.
This not-for-profit event is unique because it is one of the few events where the community comes together over the course of a culinary weekend to help raise funds for charitable organizations in Vermont. This year’s proceeds will help fund camping experiences for children with cancer at Camp Ta-Kum-Ta and renovate infusion treatment rooms for the oncology service of the area’s community hospital, Copley Hospital.
“The Stowe Wine & Food Classic gives you amazing access to Vermont’s food culture; a food culture that rivals anywhere else in the world,” noted Stowe Charities President Tony Campos. “You can talk one-on-one with Vermont chefs, brewers, and local purveyors along with world renowned vintners. As you taste and experience the best Vermont has to offer, you can compare notes with friends and other foodies. It is a unique experience where people who enjoy premier food, wine and beer come out to support two very meaningful organizations which provide life changing opportunities to many.”
Stowe Charities is delighted that this year’s event is hosted by Spruce Peak at Stowe, the renowned year-round destination located at the base of Mt. Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak.
Kick off the weekend with some of the best Vermont Food Trucks, offering tasty creations paired with Vermont craft beers. The night also showcases the powerful vocals of Vermont’s own Kat Wright backed by the funk and soul of the Indomitable Soul Band. They have been selling out crowds nationwide; don’t miss your chance to catch the best of Vermont’s culinary and music scene together for one unforgettable night.
