Copley Hospital’s Team Hero Award recognizes an employee who demonstrates outstanding service and exemplifies the hospital’s values of community, respect and compassion, service excellence and life-long learning. Leah Foote-Jones of Plant Operations was recently honored as Copley’s Team Hero by the hospital’s leadership team.
Leah was nominated by Copley’s Chief Operating Officer Vera Jones who describes her as Copley’s epitome of team spirit, stating “Leah is tireless in her efforts to do what is best for the organization. Her colleagues sing praises for her team work approach,” says Jones. Most recently, Leah took on the role as Copley’s Safety and Security Coordinator. “Leah has been instrumental in developing the hospital’s Emergency Preparedness training program which she presented to our leadership group. In February, she coordinated and facilitated an emergency preparedness table top exercise for our leadership group,” continued Jones.
Since arriving in 2016, Leah has helped coordinate a number of significant projects including the Surgical Center, security system upgrade and wayfinding.
Prior to Copley she served as Administrative Assistant at Doty Memorial School in Worcester. Leah resides in Middlesex with her husband Dustin and dogs Bailey and Beau.
