Morrisville – Foot and Ankle Specialist Saul Trevino, MD of Mansfield Orthopaedics is the featured speaker at the upcoming Copley Hospital Auxiliary Spring Luncheon. The luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20th at the Green Mountain Technology and Career Center (GMTCC) in Hyde Park. The luncheon begins at 10:15am with the Auxiliary’s short business meeting, followed by Dr. Trevino, and then lunch, prepared and served by students of the GMTCC’s Culinary Arts Program. The luncheon is open to the public. Reservations are needed by Wednesday, May 15th; please contact Lois Keith at 888-3701.
Dr. Trevino’s presentation, “Saving your soles…making your feet last a lifetime,” discusses ways you can preserve the health of your feet. Dr. Trevino joined Mansfield Orthopedics in 2012, having served a number of years at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Board Certified, Dr. Trevino is a recognized foot and ankle expert.
More than seventy volunteers make up the Copley Hospital Auxiliary, providing a tremendous amount of support and assistance to the hospital and our community. The Auxiliary operates the Gift Shop located in the hospital’s main lobby and Second Chance Thrift Store, a consignment and thrift store on Brigham Street in Morrisville. All proceeds from these stores along with popular bake sales benefit Copley Hospital. Last year, Auxiliary members and volunteers donated more than 13,000 hours of time, and gifted Copley Hospital $15,000.00.
