The Copley Hospital Auxiliary’s fall luncheon will feature a fashion show showcasing clothing and accessories from the Second Chance Thrift Store and Hospital Gift Shop. The annual luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, October 11th at the Charlmont Restaurant in Morrisville. The event begins at 10:15am with the Auxiliary’s short business meeting, followed by volunteer models showcasing fall fashion finds from Second Chance and the Gift Shop. The luncheon is open to the public. Reservations are needed by October 3rd. Call Lois Keith at 888-3701 or Judy Grosvenor at 888-9106 to reserve your seat.
The fashion show, sponsored by Second Chance Thrift Store and the Hospital Gift Shop, is an opportunity for models to dazzle the audience demonstrating various clothing and accessories available at the stores. Second Chace, located on Brigham Street in Morrisville, carries clothing for any age and size. Accessories vary from perfume and foot wear to handbags, hair attire and hats. In addition to infant and children items, The Hospital Gift Shop, located in the main lobby, carries a wide selection of frills including scarves, jewelry, winter warmers from head to toe, and more.
More than seventy volunteers make up the Copley Hospital Auxiliary, providing a tremendous amount of support and assistance to the hospital and our community. The Auxiliary operates the Gift Shop located in the hospital’s main lobby and Second Chance Thrift Store, a consignment and thrift store on Brigham Street in Morrisville. All proceeds from these stores, along with popular bake sales benefit Copley Hospital. Last year, Auxiliary members and volunteers donated more than 13,000 hours of time, and gifted Copley Hospital $36,000.00.
Mark your calendars to bring a friend to the Copley Hospital Auxiliary Luncheon on October 11th.
