Copley Hospital’s Human Resources (HR) Coordinator, Brenda Hammond has been presented with the May “Copley Team Hero” award by the hospital’s senior leadership team. This monthly award recognizes employees who exemplify the hospital’s values of community, respect and compassion, service excellence, and life-long learning. Brenda was nominated by the entire HR team.
In the nomination letter, the team describes Brenda as a “go-to” person as many hospital staff seek her out for their questions or needs. “Brenda handles every request with a professional demeanor and gets the task done. She is the hub of our team,” states Vice President of Human Resources Amy Fitzgerald. “She supports our day to day requests, and handles the spur of the moment requests with a smile and positive teamwork attitude. Brenda truly exemplifies the meaning of Copley Team Hero, and is very deserving of the recognition,” continues Fitzgerald.
Brenda has been part of Copley’s HR team since October 2015. She resides in Enosburg with her husband where they look after their beef cows, dogs and, as Brenda puts it, many cats and kittens. Reading is her favorite activity. She started dabbling in painting two years ago, and today continues with it. Outdoor activities that she enjoys include paddleboard, kayaking and hiking.
The Copley family congratulates Brenda on this award.
