Copley’s Cancer Care Program provides a holistic approach, focusing first on the patient’s well-being. Our oncology team is made up of oncology certified nurses, an oncology nurse practitioner and an oncologist, with an exceptional care team that includes surgeons, radiologists, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, social workers and support staff. We offer utilize state-of-the-art diagnostics, less invasive treatments and contemporary chemotherapy treatment in home-like, private rooms where friends and family are welcome to stay with you. Our team works closely with the cancer patient and their family, providing supportive care anytime of the day, close to home. “What’s best for the patient is always our starting point,” says Liesl Steiner, Oncology Nurse Practitioner. “And that’s reflected in our warm, compassionate care.”
The Stowe Weekend of Hope has become one of the most inspiring, educational and unprecedented events for cancer survivors in the country today. The event is open to survivors of all forms of cancer and their families. More than three-hundred cancer survivors and their families, from 21 states, Canada, and the Virgin Islands, and representing 46 different types of cancer attended last year’s event. Dozens of enlightening, educational and life-balancing forums and workshops are held throughout the weekend, free of charge, and presented by leading oncologists, medical researchers, and experts in the field of cancer and cancer-related issues.
