Personal values: I am committed to offering up-to-date personalized health care. I am a family doctor and geriatrician and keep up my certification status by doing continuing education at least 50 hours each year. I believe deeply in shared decision making with my patients. I see my self as a source of information about best health practices and about findings on tests and examinations. I share my recommendations, reasoning and physical exam findings. I negotiate with each patient what they feel will be the best path for them to follow to improve their health. I pride my self on being patient and trying to help people change un-healthy behaviors. I see myself in this nurturing and educational position as helper for the long term. I try to end each day with the sense that I have given my very best to each and every patient.
