How to Help - Copley History and Legacy Caring Since 1932
A boy named Alexander lived in Morrisville. He was ten years old and an orphan, living with relatives and other families in the area. It was 1867. Alexander later worked at the local drugstore, and after college, he moved to Boston, continuing in pharmaceuticals and also investing in real estate.
In 1908, Dr. George Bates and other Morrisville leaders envisioned building a community hospital. Tag sales and other fundraisers began to support the project, and when Alexander returned to Morrisville, it was his generosity that made the dream of a hospital finally come true, in 1932. Could Alexander Copley and the others ever imagine that their hospital would grow to serve more than 70,000 patient visits each year or rely on computer technology for surgeries and diagnosis?
We are honored to carry on their far-sighted vision. We are also grateful to you for helping us continue their legacy. Each dollar you give helps us heal people and save lives. Thank you!
