Community & Wellness Resources
Copley Hospital may be a small hospital, but it is a big part of our community.
Encouraging Wellness with Free & Low Cost Programs
We offer a variety of free and low-cost programs and screenings that promote a healthy lifestyle. With our Workplace Wellness Program, Copley Hospital's Wellness Center works with area businesses to design programs to motivate healthier lifestyles for employees and provide a healthier workforce for employers. The comprehensive program utilizes group and 1:1 health coaching.
Copley Hospital Wellness Center
In 2009, we grouped our outreach efforts under one roof: Copley Hospital's Wellness Center, located on Spring Street, behind the hospital.
The Wellness Center houses several nurses, diabetes educators, dietitian, and "quit smoking" coaches; all with a focus on wellness/prevention and education to help people personally manage their health.
We are part of the Copley Health Service Area's Blueprint, providing healthier living workshops, diabetes education and other services to help those with chronic conditions better manage their health.
We also collaborate with area organizations dedicated to improving the health of our community. This includes pre-school and elementary schools, Lamoille Valley Fit & Healthy Council, Friends of Lamoille Youth led by United Way, 4-H, Lamoille Family Health Coalition with the Vermont Department of Health, Lamoille Valley Tobacco Task Force, Leadership Lamoille, Morristown Recreation Committee, local senior living facilities and churches.
