Memorial Gifts
Give a gift in memory of a loved one.
Or, ask for donations to Copley Health Systems in lieu of flowers for your memorial service.
Honor, Tribute or Holiday Gifts
Honor a special someone for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, a holiday gift, retirement gift or for another notable occasion by making a special gift in their honor. We will let your honoree know of your thoughtfulness without sharing the gift amount.

Matching Gifts
Many employers match gifts their employees make to local organizations. It is a great way to make your gift go farther for Copley. Ask your employer about matching donations; typically it is handled through the Human Resources Department.

Gifts of appreciated securities can help you reduce your capital gains taxes and receive a tax deduction for the full market value of the stock.

Copley's Annual Fund Campaign
Gifts to Copley' Annual Fund help support the following:
- Charitable Care Program to ensure care for all regardless of ability to pay
- Chaplaincy Fund to help support the work of Chaplain Alden Launer in serving our patients, family members and fellow co-workers in need.
- Endowment Fund to help secure Copley's future financial health
- Medical Equipment to help Copley purchase equipment needed to meet the ever evolving standards of care.
In FY13, proceeds will go toward the purchase of a new Gamma Camera
You may choose to restrict your gift to support any one of the above or allows us to use your gift where it is most needed.
Bequests
You can leave a lasting legacy by naming Copley as a beneficiary in your will. A simple sentence is all it takes...
Example: I give, devise, and bequeath to Copley Health Systems, Inc., a non-profit organization in Morrisville, VT, the sum of $_____ (or ___% of my estate; or describe any real or personal property) to be used for general purposes.”

on Your Retirement Plan or Life Insurance Policy
You can name Copley Health Systems, Inc. as a beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy, individual retirement plan (IRA), Keogh Plan 401(k), 403(b) or qualified pension plan. In doing so, you can reduce your estate taxes.
Charitable Gift Annuities
You can transfer appreciated securities to Copley Health Systems, Inc. and in return, Copley will ask a third party to draw up a contract in which Copley agrees to pay you a fixed annuity for life.
Charitable Remainder Trusts
If you have assets that are highly appreciated, earning a low rate of return, which would trigger large capital gains taxes if sold, you may want to consider transferring the assets into an independent trust that yields income interest for Copley. When the income interest ends, the trust ends, and the assets go to Copley.
We encourage anyone wishing to donate in the form of stocks, trusts, life insurance, bequests, etc. to obtain professional counsel before making a gift.
