Anesthesiologists provide medical care before, during and after surgical procedures. 
Your anesthesiologist works closely with you and your entire care team.

Prior to surgery, your Anesthesiologist will meet with you for a  preoperative medical evaluation.  They'll then consult with your surgical team and create a plan for anesthesia tailored specifically for you.
